The City of Paris has cancelled the public meeting « Against antisemitism and its instrumentalisation and for revolutionary peace in Palestine » that was scheduled Wednesday December 6th in presence of Judith Butler for Jewish Voice for Peace at Cirque électrique. The argument « threat to public order ». The meeting had received full support from Angela Davis who had recorded a message especially for the event. This is another example of censorship and repression in France. We, antiracist internationalists, will never let the far right and its accomplices neither to apprioriate the struggle against antisemitism nor to instrumentalize it for racist objectives. As Gaza is again bombed, we stand with Palestine. The co organizers are looking for a new site because the cause is urgent and just, against antisemitism and for the liberation of the Palestinian people.
